Empowerment
Conference, June 2009
This year’s
theme was "Aspiring & Achieving".
The
event was
organized in partnership with SHRREB
(Southwark Human Rights, Race & Equalities
Bureau). It gave an opportunity for faith groups to liaise with other voluntary organizations and
the local authority to address the main issues affecting the
local community.
The
Co-ordinator, Ola
Oluturoti, rounded up the event with an empowering talk on fulfilling
your dreams and equipping participants with the key insights to
success.
The
participants were all inspired and are looking forward to the next
conference.
